welcome Home.
Our Move In Date Is Christmas Eve 2026.
Our New Church Home
"Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain." — Psalm 127:1
It is with deeply humble and thankful hearts that we share incredible news:
Boise Church has officially closed on our new permanent church home at 408 North Garden Street!
On October 9th, we officially signed the papers and took ownership of the building. Just a few short weeks ago, this wasn't even on our radar. But when God opens a door, He opens it completely. After two years of searching and months of prayerful patience, God moved miraculously through an anonymous donation specifically for a building. Combined with securing a manageable mortgage to bridge the gap, His grace made it possible for us to complete the purchase and plant deep roots in our community.
From every angle, this purchase is entirely a work of God’s grace—and we give Him all the praise.
More Than a building: A Place to Call Home
As exciting as it is to envision mid-century wood, stained glass, and the sweat equity ahead, a building is never just about physical walls. It is a refuge, a gathering place, and a home for the body of Christ, exhibiting the simplicity of loving God and loving people.
This will be a space where we:
Celebrate what God has done: A home to recount His faithfulness, praise His name, and rejoice together in His goodness.
Join in true community: A place to walk side-by-side with fellow believers, sharing meals, lives, and authentic fellowship.
Cry, grieve, and find comfort: Life is hard, and if you are walking through a heavy season, know that the Lord sees you. This building will be a safe place to bring your heartbreak, weep, and be met by the tender comfort of Jesus.
Be equipped for ministry: A space to grow deep in the Word and be trained to serve our neighbors and love our city well.
A Tool for Gospel Presence in Our City
We are simply stewards of a space provided by the Lord. Buildings are simply tools—and our ultimate prayer is that God uses this facility to cultivate a lasting gospel presence in our city.
God is already alive and at work across Boise, and we want to join in what God is already doing in our city. Located right on the Bench, this neighborhood church positions us to shine Christ’s light, meet real community needs, and invite our neighbors into the life-transforming hope of the gospel of Christ.
Preparing Our Hearts First
In Ezra 3, before the Israelites began rebuilding the temple, they did one crucial thing before lifting a single hammer: they built the altar and offered worship to God. They prioritized getting their hearts right before Him before engaging in the work of their hands.
We want to follow that exact pattern.
Now that the keys are in our hands, before we swing a hammer, tear down drywall, or prepare the space for our hoped-for opening on Christmas Eve, we are gathering at the property for dedicated nights of prayer and worship. Jesus is the most important thing, and our desire is to invite the Holy Spirit to fill the space and anchor our hearts before the physical work begins.
How You Can Join In
This is a shared journey for our whole church family, and there are several ways you can link arms with us in this new chapter:
Pray: Pray for wisdom for our leadership, safety for contractors and volunteers, better than expected condition of the building, and above all, that God uses this space to reach our city with the gospel.
Give Financially: While an extraordinary gift made the initial step possible, securing a mortgage allowed us to bridge the remaining gap. Your ongoing financial support helps us steward this mortgage responsibly, fund necessary renovations, and equip the building for long-term gospel ministry in Boise. You can donate at www.boise.church/give.
Serve with Sweat Equity: Grab a paintbrush or a hammer! We will have team-building workdays to prep our new church home together. Be on the lookout for work days! Sign up here!
God has been far better to us than we could ask or think. Now that the building is officially ours, let’s hold this gift with open hands, praise Him for His grace, and prepare to use this tool for His glory across our city.
The best is yet to come; to God be the glory!
