Job Title: Paraprofessional for Special Needs Children

Location: Boise Church, Boise, ID

Hours: 2.5 hours every Sunday (9:00 AM - 11:30 AM)

Pay: $18-20/hour (Contract, 1099)

Position Overview: Boise Church is seeking a compassionate and skilled Paraprofessional to provide support to special needs children during our Sunday services. This role involves assisting children with various needs to ensure they can fully participate in our church activities in a safe and supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to special needs children during Sunday services.

  • Assist with communication, mobility, and other personal needs as required.

  • Work closely with parents and church staff to ensure a positive experience for each child.

  • Maintain a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all children.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with special needs children, preferably in an educational or childcare setting.

  • Understanding and agreement with Boise Church’s statement of faith.

  • Ability to pass a background check.

  • Patient, compassionate, and reliable.
